This bulletin is for users of the Racelogic VBOX HD2 system with ACS329 cameras (orange label).
Some units may ship with firmware not fully compatible with the ACS329 cameras.
Example of Data & Video sync issue:
None of the graphed data, track map, etc. in Circuit Tools is synced with the video, but the video’s graphic overlay is not affected.
This is caused by a firmware incompatibility between the VBOX head unit and the frame rate of the newer cameras. In this example, version 1.4.89.3 was installed. Updating to version 1.5.4.0 fixed the issue.
Update the VBOX’s firmware to the latest version:
